Hospital enhances operations with better access

Aintree Hospital in Liverpool has recently upgraded its Access Control with help from Assa Abloy, using a cost effective and wire free system to integrate the new and existing systems; working with all major standard RFID technologies it will be easy to add further additions to the system. The hospital now possesses a very capable and flexible Access Control system that will stand them in good stead for the years to come.

Panasonic faces off security challenges for ice hockey venue

Disruption has been put on hold at top Swiss ice hockey club SCL Tigers following the implementation of Panasonic’s 4K dome camera, the WV-SFV781L. The club is now able to monitor the entire length of each stand using just two cameras thanks to its 6x optical zoom and true 4k.

Physical Security Product demand is steady but margins are reducing growth

Memoori’s annual report on the world market for Physical Security products has highlighted the highs and lows of the market with evidence pointing to margins at an all time low, particularly for video surveillance. Factors for this include “the Chinese threat”, with Hikvision and Dahua now the two largest producers of video cameras to dominate the market.
