Two factor authentication market boom

The latest report published by Technavio shows that the global market is expected to triple its value by 2021 (from $4.73 billion in 2016, to 13.63 billion by 2021 at a CAGR of 23.57%).

New national surveillance camera strategy for England and Wales
To help keep people safe in public places and respect their right to privacy, the Surveillance Camera Commissioner launched a new national surveillance camera strategy for England and Wales.
The strategy aims to provide direction and leadership in the surveillance camera community to enable system operators to understand good and best practice and their legal obligations. The BSIA has released a statement saying that it fully supports and endorses this new strategy.

Hostile takeover of CCTV
The hostile takeover of CCTV cameras, routers, and DVRs via the Mirai botnet follows attacks on the cloud DNS provider Dyn and the French hosting service OVH in October 2016, according to a report by security journalist Brian Krebs. All were avoidable. So, how can you defend your networks and users against attacks against consumer hardware which is designed to be simple to use?
