Tyco is strengthening its position in the federal access control market by acquiring ID Authentication Specialist Innometriks.  “We are very excited to be joining the Tyco family. Progress in developing lips reading technology

Low frame rates and small images are a huge challenge in automated CCTV lip reading but it doesn’t stop scientists at the University of East Anglia to continues their intensive work on the subject. Lips reading technology would allow to deciphers speech where the audio isn’t clear enough.
