Are you an experienced Electrical Authorised Person looking to work on some of Europe's most technically advanced critical infrastructure projects?

This is an opportunity to join a major international engineering contractor delivering multiple large-scale mission critical developments across the Milan region.

Whether your background is in Data Centres, Power Generation, Pharmaceuticals, Utilities, Industrial Manufacturing, Renewables or other high voltage critical environments, if you're experienced in electrical safe systems of work and energisation, we'd love to hear from you.

Location
Based on large-scale construction projects throughout the Milan area, supporting the delivery of complex mission critical facilities.

What You'll Be Doing
You'll play a vital role in ensuring electrical safety during commissioning, energisation and system handover across major engineering projects.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Managing Electrical Safe Systems of Work throughout project delivery
  • Issuing and controlling permits for energised electrical activities
  • Supporting commissioning, testing and energisation programmes
  • Coordinating Lock Out / Tag Out (LOTO) procedures
  • Reviewing electrical distribution systems before energisation
  • Working alongside Senior Authorised Persons, commissioning engineers and specialist contractors
  • Supporting switchgear inspections, protection systems and energisation activities
  • Witnessing electrical testing and ensuring documentation is completed correctly
  • Attending commissioning and planning meetings
  • Driving the highest standards of electrical safety on site

Our client is a leading international engineering contractor delivering high-value projects across Europe within mission critical infrastructure, pharmaceuticals, power and industrial sectors.
Known for delivering technically challenging projects safely and to an exceptionally high standard, they continue to invest heavily in their people, offering genuine long-term career development and the opportunity to work on landmark engineering projects.
Due to continued project awards, they're now expanding their electrical commissioning and energisation team in Milan.

Requirements
You'll ideally have experience as an:
  • Electrical Authorised Person
  • Appointed Person (Electrical)
  • Senior Commissioning Engineer
  • Electrical Commissioning Technician
  • Electrical Commissioning Manager
  • Senior Electrical Engineer with HV/LV energisation experience

You'll also have experience with:
  • Electrical Safe Systems of Work
  • Permit to Work systems
  • Lock Out / Tag Out procedures
  • LV and/or HV electrical systems
  • Electrical testing and commissioning
  • Switchgear and protection systems
  • Reading electrical drawings and schematics
  • Working safely within live electrical environments
