Location
You'll be based across multiple large-scale Data Centre developments in the Milan area, supporting the delivery of complex mission critical facilities for global clients.

What You'll Be Doing
As a Mechanical Commissioning Engineer, you'll play a vital role in ensuring critical mechanical systems are safely tested, commissioned and handed over to the highest industry standards.
Your responsibilities will include:
  • Commissioning mechanical building services systems across major Data Centre projects
  • Reviewing mechanical drawings, specifications and technical documentation
  • Developing and implementing commissioning plans, procedures and test scripts
  • Coordinating commissioning activities with project teams, vendors and specialist contractors
  • Testing and validating HVAC, chilled water, condenser water and ventilation systems
  • Supporting pre-commissioning, flushing, pressure testing and functional performance testing
  • Carrying out system inspections, tag walks and commissioning walkdowns
  • Identifying defects, managing snagging activities and supporting close-out
  • Producing commissioning documentation, reports and final handover packs
  • Attending commissioning meetings and collaborating with multidisciplinary project teams
  • Supporting Integrated Systems Testing (IST) and client demonstrations
  • Mentoring junior engineers and promoting commissioning best practice across projects

Requirements
You'll ideally have experience as a:
  • Mechanical Commissioning Engineer
  • Senior Mechanical Commissioning Engineer
  • Commissioning Manager
  • HVAC Commissioning Engineer
  • Cx Engineer / Commissioning Specialist
You'll also have experience with:
  • HVAC systems
  • Chilled Water (CHW)
  • Condenser Water (CW)
  • Low Temperature Hot Water (LTHW)
  • Air Handling Units (AHUs)
  • CRAH and CRAC units
  • Ventilation systems
  • Pumps, valves and pipework
  • BMS integration
  • Functional Performance Testing (FPT)
  • Integrated Systems Testing (IST)
  • Mechanical flushing and pressure testing
  • Commissioning documentation and reporting
  • Mechanical drawings and specifications
  • Building Services Engineering
  • Mechanical system troubleshooting and fault finding
