The Opportunity
We’re working with a well-established and growing iGaming operator, supporting their search for an Infrastructure Engineer to join their team in Malta. This is a fully remote role (based in Malta) with the option to work from the office if preferred.
You’ll play a key role in managing and maintaining infrastructure across multiple European locations, including data centres and offices, ensuring high availability and performance across the estate.

The Opportunity
We’re working with a well-established and growing iGaming operator, supporting their search for an Infrastructure Engineer to join their team in Malta. This is a fully remote role (based in Malta) with the option to work from the office if preferred.
You’ll play a key role in managing and maintaining infrastructure across multiple European locations, including data centres and offices, ensuring high availability and performance across the estate.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Designing, implementing and maintaining infrastructure solutions across multiple data centres
- Managing virtualised environments (VMware, Proxmox)
- Supporting Windows Server environments (2019/2022)
- Managing networking components (VPN, NAT, ACLs)
- Handling BAU tasks including patching, backups, VM builds and troubleshooting
- Supporting and leading infrastructure-related projects
- Identifying opportunities for automation and continuous improvement
- Responding to monitoring alerts and supporting incident resolution
- Contributing to security, compliance and vulnerability remediation
- 4 years’ experience in a similar Infrastructure role
- Strong experience within enterprise IT environments
- Solid knowledge of virtualisation, networking and Windows Server
- Experience with backup solutions and storage platforms
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Experience working across multiple sites or data centres
- Azure or cloud exposure
- Linux administration (Debian/Ubuntu)
- Experience with firewalls and switching (Cisco/Meraki)
- Automation tools (Terraform, Ansible)
- Monitoring tools (Grafana, Nagios, vROps)
- Understanding of ITIL, PCI or regulated environments
- €45,000 – €50,000 salary
- 5% company bonus
