Federica joined the team as a Junior Delivery Consultant last year with no recruitment background, since then she has done excellent work in learning all about recruitment whilst hitting her quarterly targets for Q2 & Q3, continues to do well in helping the international team thrive, and has become a real asset to the team.
How long have you been working for Eligo? How did you start out in Recruitment?
My curiosity for recruitment and the HR sector started while attending an HR and Art management Masters Degree in Rome 2 years ago. After working within the arts sector in London I realized I needed a more challenging environment so started looking for a recruitment company that could suit my personality. And then I found Eligo!
How do you start your workday? What’s your favourite part of your work environment?
To be honest, I'm not really a morning person, so my workday usually starts in a rush to get ready and go to the office, but with a great will to go through the day.
The work environment is the perfect balance between friendly and professional. Our day starts with a team meeting to update each other on our daily plans (a great example of teamwork and a healthy environment!) and my day continues with research and making different calls to assist the candidates in any step.
What’s the best lesson you have learned in your career so far?
To not take anything for granted. Sometimes a hopeless situation can turn into a great “deal”
What’s your biggest achievement/success in your career so far?
In my current role, I feel I have reached a good level of resiliency to working in recruitment, from accepting the ups and downs of a new career path and learning about recruitment, in particular, since it is mainly focused on human relationships it can be tricky at times but always rewarding.
