Mechanical Design Engineer (Data Centres)

You will be responsible for leading projects from concept to completion, ensuring the highest standards of mechanical design and installation.
About You
- Education: Honours Degree in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering. Chartered status is a distinct advantage.
- Experience: A minimum of 4 years of professional experience within Industrial, High Tech, Commercial, Residential, or Healthcare engineering projects.
- Technical Standards: A deep understanding of international and local standards, including CIBSE, ASHRAE, BS, IS, and EN.
- Software Proficiency: Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, and Bluebeam. Familiarity with other engineering analysis software is highly desirable.
- Leadership: Proven experience in leading and coordinating engineering teams to deliver projects successfully.
- Communication: Fluent in both English and Lithuanian (written and verbal), with the confidence to present to clients and stakeholders.
- Compliance: Full right to work in Lithuania is essential.
- Design Leadership: Lead mechanical services design on diverse projects, from initial concept stage through to final handover.
- Specification: Prepare detailed specifications and designs for complex mechanical building services systems.
- Quality Control: Perform continuous design and installation quality checks to maintain organisational standards.
- Tender Management: Produce fully detailed tender packages, including reports, analysis, and recommendations.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional design teams and clients to develop and refine project scopes.
- Autonomy: Take the lead on projects with minimal management oversight, demonstrating strong decision-making skills.
- Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior engineering staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
