Senior Electrical Design Engineer | Lithuania

Role Overview
This is a permanent, senior-level position based in Lithuania (Vilnius, Kaunas, or Klaipėda).

You will lead high-profile electrical design projects across the EMEA region (Europe, Middle East, and Africa), taking ownership of the full project lifecycle from initial concept through to final client handover. This role requires a technical leader who can integrate complex electrical systems with BMS/EPMS and security infrastructure while maintaining rigorous quality assurance standards.

About You
  • Experience: A minimum of 4 years of professional experience in electrical engineering within the building services sector.
  • Education: Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline. Being a Chartered Engineer (CEng) or working towards it is a distinct advantage.
  • Sector Knowledge: Proven track record in sectors such as Data Centres, Life Sciences, Healthcare, or Commercial projects.
  • Technical Design: Expertise in electrical building services, including power distribution, lighting, fire alarms, security, and emergency systems.
  • Standards & Regulations: Strong command of IEC, IS, BS, and EN regulations, alongside familiarity with CIBSE and IET codes of practice.
  • Software Proficiency: Skilled in using AutoCAD, Revit MEP, Dialux, and Bluebeam.
  • Calculations: Experienced in producing detailed electrical load calculations and ensuring complex system coordination.
  • Language & Work Rights: Confident communication in English and Lithuanian. You must hold the full right to work in Lithuania.
Your Day-to-Day Activities
  • Project Ownership: Lead the electrical design for major projects, ensuring innovative and sustainable solutions are at the forefront.
  • Team Coordination: Manage multidisciplinary engineering teams, overseeing BIM technicians and support engineers to ensure timely, high-quality delivery.
  • Client Liaison: Act as the primary technical point of contact for clients, architects, and contractors.
  • Documentation: Prepare comprehensive technical specifications and tender packages, including analytical reports and recommendations.
  • Quality & Compliance: Conduct rigorous design and installation quality checks to ensure adherence to industry regulations.
  • Mentorship: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and graduates, fostering their professional growth.
  • Site Engagement: Lead technical workshops, design reviews, and conduct site inspections to monitor progress and compliance.
Technical ScopeIn this role, you will be expected to bridge the gap between traditional electrical services and intelligent building infrastructure.

Key Focus Areas:
  • Power Distribution: Designing resilient LV/MV distribution networks for critical facilities.
  • System Integration: Coordinating electrical designs with BMS (Building Management Systems) and EPMS (Electrical Power Monitoring Systems).
  • Sustainability: Implementing low-energy solutions and sustainable design practices to meet modern ESG targets.
  • CSA Coordination: Collaborating on Civil, Structural, and Architectural elements to ensure seamless service integration.
