Security Systems Technician
Location: Limerick, Cork, Dublin, Midlands – Ireland
Salary: €42,000 – €48,000 per year

About the Role:
Our client is seeking an experienced Security Systems Technician to install and commission access control and CCTV systems across commercial and enterprise environments. This is primarily project-based installation work, not ongoing service or maintenance. The expectation is a self-sufficient engineer with 2–3 years’ experience who can work independently—no hand-holding or close supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, configure, and commission access control and CCTV systems
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and upgrade security systems as needed
  • Work with enterprise-level systems such as Lenel, Honeywell, CCURE, Vanderbilt, or candidates with generic access control/CCTV experience
  • Collaborate with project teams and provide occasional training to end-users
  • Ensure work complies with industry standards and company procedures
Required Experience & Qualifications:
  • 2–3 years’ experience in security systems, preferably in project-based installation
  • Hands-on experience with access control and CCTV systems
  • Basic networking knowledge (IP addressing, VLANs) and ability to read technical schematics
  • Safe Pass and Manual Handling certificates
  • Full driving license
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills
Desirable:
  • Certifications in Lenel, Honeywell, CCURE, Vanderbilt, or similar platforms
