Mechanical Engineer – Data Center Cooling Solutions | United States Location: Ashburn, VA / Dallas, TX / Hybrid Salary: USD 105,000 – 145,000 per year
Role Overview A leading engineering consultancy is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to design innovative cooling solutions for hyperscale and enterprise data centers.
Design HVAC systems including AHUs, fan walls, and chilled water plants
Develop air and liquid cooling strategies
Conduct CFD analysis for thermal optimization
Collaborate with sales and engineering teams on proposals
Ensure compliance with ASHRAE and U.S. codes
Support commissioning and performance validation
Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s in Mechanical Engineering
5–10 years’ experience in data centers or mission-critical projects
Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, and CFD tools
