I’m currently recruiting for a Global Head of Design & Estimation to lead a critical global function within a rapidly growing technology infrastructure business.

This is a senior leadership opportunity for someone who can combine commercial strategy, technical credibility and people leadership to help win major international opportunities and support ambitious global growth plans.

You’ll work closely with Sales, Operations, Finance and Procurement, shaping estimating strategy, improving commercial performance and building a high-performing global Design & Estimation function.

What you’ll be doing:
• Leading the global Design & Estimation strategy
• Building, developing and managing a high-performing international team
• Establishing global estimating standards, governance and best practice
• Providing commercial leadership across complex bids and strategic accounts
• Supporting pricing strategy, cost modelling and risk management
• Working closely with Sales, Operations, Finance and Procurement
• Developing relationships with key technology partners
• Driving innovation, continuous improvement and new technologies
• Contributing to the wider Sales Leadership Team and global growth strategy

What we’re looking for:
• Proven leadership experience across estimating, commercial pre-sales, bid management or technical solutions
• Strong commercial acumen and experience leading complex bids
• A track record of improving win rates and delivering profitable outcomes
• Experience building and developing teams across multiple regions or business units
• Strong financial judgement across pricing, cost modelling and risk
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills
• Knowledge of structured cabling, ICT or data centre infrastructure
• Strategic and commercially minded, with a collaborative leadership style
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, international environment

We’re also open to candidates from adjacent sectors who have the right leadership, commercial and technical capability. Mentoring and training will be available for the right person.
