Threat detection systems market growth

According to the latest report published by Marketsandmarkets, the thread detection systems market is predicted to hit $119.17 Billion by 2022 (from $48.38 Billion in 2015), at a CAGR if 13.11% between 2016-2022. Video surveillance systems are playing the main role in the market and are expected to grow at the highest rate during the forecast period. The growth is caused mainly by the increasing threat of terrorist activities, rising territorial conflicts, and geopolitical instabilities.

The Detektor International Awards 2016

The finalists for three of the most prestigious accolades to be awarded in the security industry – The Detektor International Awards 2016. The final awards presentation will take place on the evening of the 16th November, in Copenhagen in conjunction with the Sectech show. The competition is divided into three technology categories – CCTV, Alarm and Detection and Access Control. Each year it becomes more difficult to select new nominations as so many new products and ideas are launched into the security arena considering the fast pace and changing face of the security industry.
