General Practitioner

Job Overview: We are seeking a qualified General Practitioner (GP) with CTC (Counter Terrorist Check) clearance for a locum position in a prison setting in South East London. While previous GP experience working in prisons is an advantage, it is not essential as full training will be provided. However, having CTC clearance is a mandatory requirement.Key Responsibilities of this Prison Locum GP role: <ul><li>Conduct primary care and reception clinics, attending to approximately 12 patients per clinic.</li><li>Provide clinical support to the Special Education Group (SEG) unit.</li><li>Manage cases related to substance misuse and addiction.</li></ul>Additional Information: This is an ongoing locum GP opportunity with potential to transition into a permanent role, if desired. Many of our current locum GPs have maintained placements for over a year. Please Note: Applicants to this Prison Locum GP role must have CTC clearance to be considered.
