Utilities Manager EMEA

€120000 - €150000 per annum

My client is on a mission to redefine the future of data centre infrastructure –
and they need a Utilities Manager to help make it happen.

As Utilities Manager, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our data centre
developments across EMEA have the power and infrastructure they need, when
they need it. Working closely with senior leadership, you’ll coordinate the
delivery of high-voltage utility connections, manage relationships with utility
providers, and support projects from early planning through to operational
handover.

This is a hands-on role that combines technical knowledge, project coordination,
and stakeholder engagement. You’ll be the bridge between technical teams,
external partners, and internal departments to keep projects on track and cost-
effective.

What You’ll Do
*Support the planning, negotiation, and delivery of HV utility connectionsfor
for data centre projects

*Coordinate with utilities, developers, municipalities, and agencies to
secure infrastructure access

*Monitor project utility requirements, timelines, and budgets

*Provide input into site selection by assessing utility feasibility and cost
implications

*Assist in preparing and managing connection agreements

*Liaise with Development, Design, Construction, and Operations teams to
align utility delivery with project milestones

*Maintain accurate documentation and reporting on utility activities and
risks

What We’re Looking For
*Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction, Business, or a related
field (or equivalent experience)

*Several years’ experience working within or alongside utilities in the
EMEA region

*Strong technical understanding of HV utility connections and
infrastructure delivery

*Experience in data centres, mission-critical infrastructure, or other
complex industrial projects

*Confident communicator with the ability to manage relationships at
multiple levels

*Commercial awareness of tariffs, fees, and delivery costs

*Organised, detail-focused, and capable of managing multiple priorities

*Fluent in English; additional European languages (German, Spanish,
French, etc.) are a plus
