About the Role: Are you a field-based Security Engineer with experience in Access Control Systems, CCTV, and Internet Protocol (IP) technologies looking for a change? Transition away from the demanding life of a Security Systems Installer and embrace a stable, office-based role with predictable hours and a consistent schedule. After training, this role will become hybrid, requiring you to be in the office only three times a week.

About the Opportunity: We have an exciting opportunity for an office-based Technical Support Engineer with one of our top clients, a highly respected Security Systems Manufacturer located in Essex. This role is perfect for a field-based Security Engineer with experience in Access Control Systems, CCTV, and Internet Protocol (IP) technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Support: Assist the sales team with technical expertise.
  • Product Demonstrations: Showcase the capabilities of our systems to potential clients.
  • Remote Technical Assistance: Provide support and troubleshooting for customers remotely.
  • On-Site Technical Work: Occasionally perform installations and maintenance at customer sites.
Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Good Communicator: Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Technical Knowledge: Experience with CCTV, Access Control systems, and Internet Protocol (IP) technologies.
  • Team Player: Ability to collaborate and contribute to team growth.
  • Field Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is beneficial.

  • Training: Full training on the latest technologies.
  • Equipment: Company car, phone, and laptop provided.
