Our client is an international engineering and design consultancy. Their Mission Critical Facilities team sits within plant engineering, and this role turns complex client requirements into designs that can actually be built, using 3D and BIM tools, with Belgian and international teams working on the same models.

What you would do

• Manage project scope, design budget and contract documentation
• Prepare and monitor design schedules and allocate work across the team
• Coordinate design between the Belgian teams and their international counterparts
• Optimise designs across multidisciplinary teams and external partners
• Lead design reviews and control design changes
• Develop design concepts and present them to clients and project teams
• Act as technical client contact through the execution phases

What you need

• A master's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering, or a comparable technical field
• Around five years managing and coordinating multidisciplinary design projects, ideally data centres or industrial buildings
• Experience leading design teams with both internal and external stakeholders
• Confident in 3D design and BIM environments, particularly BIM 360
• Knowledge of design standards, regulations and construction practice
• Fluent English and Dutch (French is welcome but not required.)
