Project Goals:

  • Design and implement guidelines and procedures for international exchange programs between the company and its collaborators, initially focusing on US partners with potential for global expansion.
  • Establish a sustainable delivery model for ongoing program support, including resource needs and staff development strategies.

Project Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate current practices and procedures for international mobility within the business.
  • Advise on legislative and other requirements for facilitating compliant international mobility programs (e.g., cross-border assignments, temporary secondments, exchange programs).
  • Develop clear guidelines and processes for managers and employees to ensure efficient program execution.

Candidate Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in international mobility programs, particularly regarding regulatory compliance.
  • Experience in a mobility role within a large, complex organization (public or educational sector preferred).
  • In-depth understanding of international mobility processes and policies.
  • Strong attention to detail, especially when developing employment terms and conditions for international mobility.

Candidate Skills:

  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload, manage independently, and identify business improvement opportunities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with partners, advisors, and government agencies.
  • Knowledge of tax implications, immigration, visa requirements, and other legal considerations for international assignments.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Background in HR, legal, or a related field is a plus.
