About Us: Join our client to drive the evolution of our Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) environment. I am seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to lead the development and management of scalable and resilient infrastructure solutions, enabling seamless collaboration and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain robust Infrastructure as Code (IaC) processes to provision and manage compute platforms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyse requirements for IaaS solutions.
  • Develop and maintain shared software environments using tools like Docker containers and Conda environments.
  • Deploy and manage trial implementations on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and private Linux compute clusters.
  • Implement and continuously improve security measures to protect data and assets.
  • Support platform testing activities and troubleshoot any issues that arise.

Required Skills:

  • Active SC Clearance required
  • Strong expertise in infrastructure development and automation.
  • Proficiency in implementing IaC processes and DevOps best practices.
  • Experience with system integration and designing resilient interfaces between systems.
  • Technical understanding of relevant subject matter, particularly in data science and earth observation.
  • Excellent communication skills for engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to stay abreast of industry trends and incorporate relevant practices into work.
  • Proven problem-solving skills and ability to find innovative solutions to complex challenges.
  • Understanding of information security principles and best practices.

Proficiency in cost analysis and understanding of associated costs linked to proposed solutions
