Gold Partner Microsoft - Software Engineer

Remote working: only 2 days a month in Milan office required.

Multinational Software House, Gold Partner Microsoft, is looking for a Software Engineer to join Software development team, responsible for a Microsoft 365 Management Platform that helps IT teams get the full value from Microsoft 365, gain full oversight of their environment, and move at full speed.

Job Summary

Leveraging your full-stack development skills, passion, and curiosity to create cutting-edge applications and services built from the ground up. This position requires mid-level knowledge on any of the following technologies: .Net Core, C#, API, and distributed systems. We love to work with people that have a passion for technologies and a natural curiosity toward learning new skills.

You must be able to communicate effectively with different groups of people in the organization, including the product research & development team as well as the pre-sales architect and the customer experience teams.

Responsibilities:

· Constantly learning new technologies

· Writing high-quality software

· Feature scoping, planning and estimation

· Close collaboration with other engineers and team members

· Daily standups, weekly planning meetings

· Ensuring that appropriate security controls and secure development principles are integrated into the software development lifecycle. Ensuring that software is property assessed and tested for security vulnerabilities prior to implementation. Ensuring that secure coding principles are practiced as part of software engineering activities.

Qualifications:

· C#, .NET Core

· Some knowledge of cloud-based development and deployment on clouds (Azure/AWS) environments

· Understanding of Restful API design and integration

· Familiarity with Unit Tests

· Design Patterns, Object-Oriented Programming

· Agile methodologies

· Angular (plus)

· NoSql database knowledge (plus)

· Distributed systems (plus)

Proficient in English. You read and write proficiently and speak at a conversational level in English.
