Technical Support Advisor - Smart Home Automation - KNX
Rare opportunity for a Technical Support Advisor (with partial remote working) to join the leading independent wholesaler of products for intelligent buildings (Smart Home Automation) in the UK, Australia and New Zealand. They are proudly independent and have a small but growing team, contributing to the phenomenal growth of KNX in the UK.
As Technical Support Advisor you will assume technical responsibility for providing technical support to their entire customer base via phone, email and web chat to proactively solve problems, with occasional site visits to offer technical knowledge and deliver technical presentations and training seminars.
There will also be an expectation to provide sales support, identifying opportunities from customers to generate leads for the sales team, and promotion of training courses, technical briefings and events delivered by the company.
You will also be expected to keep your industry knowledge up to date via tech briefs and trade shows.
This is a challenging and fulfilling role supporting numerous smart home products from different manufacturers to a wide range of customers with varying technical ability.
There will be no time to get bored!
In addition to generous base salary (DOE), there is an annual bonus, 22 days holiday, full training program to ensure you have the skills needed, and you can be based anywhere in the UK remotely up to 3 days a week (although you are expected to be present in their Nottingham or West Sussex office at least twice a week).
