A key client of mine are seeking a Multi-skilled experienced Suppression/ Fire alarm Engineer to join their team.

Job Type: Full-Time
Door to Door travel for this role
Ideally residing close to Essex/South of the M25 Covering Southern England (South of Birmingham Must be prepared to travel)
Standby Duties: 1 in every 8 weekends, subject to numbers of engineers
Retainer paid
Time and half Saturdays
Double time Sundays
Salary: upto £35k basic (per year dependant on experience and qualifications)

About the opportunity:
Must be able to carry out thorough routine Installation across all disciplines of suppression systems and or fire systems - to the relevant industry standards (BAFE). The ability to compile a comprehensive report will be essential in this role. An understanding of electronic devices (mobile phone and tablet) will also be required for report completion and submission.

Seeking a solid Suppression/Fire alarm Engineer should have the following:

• Can offer an experienced Fire alarm engineer this opportunity (if open to diversifying their skillset in Suppression systems to become an all rounder)
• Fire alarm knowledge - addressable and conventional
• Kitchen suppression, Gas systems, water mist, Foam
• Be able to identify and rectify faults across all disciplines (can offer training if just fire biased)
• Have experience with industrial, commercial installations
• Have comprehensive knowledge base of multiple manufacturers equipment
• Have basic IT skills: MS Word, MS Outlook

Essential Technical & Practical Experience and Skills:
* Commercial, industrial and domestic installations of varying sizes
* Ability to Install, fault find and carry out fault rectification on all areas of fire & suppression systems.

The ideal candidate will reside South of Birmingham and will require to travel - Travel time is paid door to door for this role.
