Sponsorship Sales Director wanted for an up and coming Conference Organiser, their head-office is in New York but have now opened an office in London, these guys run B2B Conferences in the Finance/Property markets, here in the UK and the USA.
The client are expanding its portfolio of successful events in the European markets and looking for a full-time Sponsorship Sales Director. They are looking for ONE ambitious, talented and proven B2B sales person to drive revenues within a newly launched area of the business. They are able to offer excellent earning potential in an open, team-based environment that is exceptionally entrepreneurial. The right candidate will seize the opportunity to exploit lucrative new markets, working closely with the Managing Directors of the business. The role requires making a lot of proactive business calls and building relationships with new companies.
As a Sponsorship Sales Director you will have a consultative b2b sponsorship sales process including category-led lead generation and pitch creation. Dynamically creating new relationships with senior level prospects primarily on the telephone as well as face to face at events - must be skilled at genuinely cutting through and tailoring USPS and solutions. Knowledge on how to create high-level sales proposals that deliver genuine solutions based on a 2 stage business case conversation. Questioning techniques that build value and demonstrate ROI and the ability to build value and effectively isolate different sponsorship package elements and negotiate profitable yields.
To be considered for this Sponsorship Sales Director role you have must have proven B2B Conference or Exhibition Sponsorship sales with at least 3 years' experience, the client would also consider someone coming from a Publisher if they have events exposure.
