Platform Manager

the role lead the Platform team and is a brand new role, so I have included some information below but the role is largely down to the individual to shape this role and develop the direction

This large-scale high-volume platform business is looking for someone to lead the platform engineering team. This business already has a strong system, test, and DevOps engineers, the business has a passion for the person to bring this highly talented team together and build a world-class platform team.

You will report directly to the CTO and you will join the senior leadership team, this role will be responsible for the business AWS platform, CI/CD, and test automation. The team is currently around 10 which is a mixture of DevOps, Test, and System engineers.

you will have a successful track record in platform engineering, with AWS. You will also have experience & success in building teams, inspiring and developing diverse technical talent is a key success
factor. you will be results-focused but caring equally on the 'how'; they will be
resilient and persistent, with a strong EQ, articulate, and ability to build productive working
relationships.
