Lead Infrastructure Project Engineer (MSCE/MCSA/ITIL/Prince2/ISO/DR/Network/AD/Cloud)

Are you bored of BAU work and looking to get your teeth stuck into project based work?

A managed service provider in Central London is looking for a Lead Infrastructure Project Engineer to join their team, in a hands on technical lead capacity. You will be working closely with the Managing Director to be the point of escalation at the company, and a source of knowledge for all employees, perhaps even keeping the MD in check!

The company themselves are ISO certified and pride themselves on best practice, following ITIL and Prince2 methodologies, and using cutting edge technologies to come up with bes breed state of the art solutions for their range of customers from SME to large organisations across London.

As Lead Infrastructure Project Engineer you will be the point of escalation for any technical questions that other Infrastructure Engineers may have. You will be delivering end to end projects for clients, identifying their pain points, devising solutions, vision and roadmap for their problems, and implementing and delivering these solutions with your team.

Projects may include mail migration to O365, data centres, cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP), Data Recovery, directory authentication, and replication technologies, and you be delivering these projects from brief to implementation. The company are platform agnostic, so you will be working with a wide range of technologies as Lead Infrastructure Project Engineer.

The successful Lead Infrastructure Project Engineer will be MCSE and MCSA certified (2008 onwards), have a solid grounding in Prince2 and ITIL methodologies, and demonstratable exposure to cloud environments, as well as experience in various types of infrastructure projects (DR, office moves, cloud hosted storage, telephony, etc.).
