Responsibilities:

• Develop robust and scalable new API-based code in Angular and maintain existing code in JavaScript within our large-scale SaaS platform
• Take user requirements, flats and design guidelines and develop them into specifications and complete implementations
• Work closely with the product team, the UX team and the frontend and backend teams
• Actively contribute to code review, discussions on development approaches and technical design decisions
• Support junior developers with your technical skill as well as your product and domain knowledge

Key skills & experience

• Extensive, hands-on experience as a software developer in key web technologies: JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS
• Solid experience of developing large-scale web applications and contributing to a large JavaScript codebase as a member of a software development team
• Experience working with Angular (or React and willing to switch) and build tools
• Familiar with working on Linux
• Confident with Git version control and code reviews
• Able to iterate fast where needed, but architect well for long term scalability
• Able to work in the UK without any restrictions. Security Clearance may be required for this role
• Educated to degree level (ideally a technical degree) or equivalent working experience
• Strong team working and collaborative skills
