Are you a macOS IT Manager used to working in a fast-paced creative environment seeking a fresh challenge?
As macOS IT Manager, do you have?
- Expert knowledge of being able to support a predominantly macOS environment with some Windows computers (on-site and remotely)
- Good network design and administration skills
- Strong experience of managing servers (Windows / Linux)
- A programming language (python, bash) to write scripts to automate processes
- Experience of version control
- Great communication and strong numeracy skills
As macOS IT Manager, do you have experience with the following?
- Apple fleet management (ABM, DEP, MDM)
- Google Workspace
- Okta
- Network design and configuration
- Amazon Web Services (or Google Cloud Platform) ● Scripting (Python or Bash)
As IT Manager - macOS, here's what we need of you:
- Ensuring the smooth running of all our SaaS systems, from SSO (Okta) to Google Workspace and Device Management tools (SimpleMDM, Munki, Jamf)
- Manage network (Cisco Meraki) and server configuration and maintenance for the business
- Manage servers and configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories and storage
- Manage all cloud services (AWS / GCP)
- Manage and track all upgrades and security updates
- Manage and maintain all necessary documentation and mapping
- Project management
- Managing the user onboarding and off-boarding process
- Manage a budget aiming to align spending with business ambition
- Maintain accurate inventory and replacement schedules
- Ensure backups are kept up-to-date
On top of that, as a Senior Mac Engineer and IT professional, we need you to:
- Identify and leverage new technologies and trends for business benefit
- Strategically map-out, plan, and manage projects
- Analyse and maintain operational data, providing recommendations & learnings
- Promote and implement operational efficiency and compliance measures
- Help drive technological excellence across the Company working with teams to provide training, ideas and recommendations
And finally you'll also:
- Manage, develop and motivating the IT team
- Build and maintain positive vendor/supplier relationships and favourable rates
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders and develop a clear understanding of departmental systems and challenges
- Ensure IT systems run smoothly and safely in line with any legal compliance requirements, eg GDPR
- Update and maintain the Disaster Recovery Plan
- Ensure all IT Policies are kept up-to-date and enforced where necessary
