Full-Stack .NET Web Developer - Umbraco CMS - Digital Agency
A small but growing, busy and well-established digital and direct agency in the heart of London are expanding their team, and are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and self-motivated .NET Mid-weight Umbraco Web developer, or a Junior Web Developer looking to take the next step in their career.
In addition to a social, relaxed and supportive work culture, the agency has fantastic benefits including 27 days holiday, duvet days, life insurance, training budget, discounted private healthcare, cycle to work scheme, and discounted home computer scheme.
Sick of being stuck in rush hour or want to pick the kids up from school? No problem.
There is also flexibility on your start and finish times, as long as the time is made up. In addition to this, after your first month you can choose to work from home 1 day a week.
The role of .NET Web Developer will involve working on a wide range of Microsoft based websites for many well-known national and worldwide charities. You will need to be an experienced Web Developer used to working on transactional websites that securely integrate with one or more external systems, using a mix of client-side and server-side technologies, and various data formats.
Most of your work will be focused on both building and maintaining fundraising and donation platforms, as well as custom products for clients. Whilst most of these web solutions use C# .Net and utilise the Umbraco CMS, they are increasingly using .Net Core for non-Umbraco solutions, as well as Nodejs for both serverless solutions and for new channels such as voice.
The ideal candidate for the role of .NET Web Developer will be comfortable with prioritising their varied and busy workload from multiple client accounts, as well as maintaining and enhancing existing websites with some greenfield work. A background within E-Commerce and/or Marketing with transactional development would also be hugely beneficial, as would working with payment integrations.
Although more heavily focused on the backend, experience of the full development stack is essential. A modern front-end framework such as React or Angular would be useful but is not a requirement for this role of .NET Web Developer.
Umbraco is the CMS solution the agency is using, so 2+ years' experience in this CMS is preferred, however experience in any CMS solution including Kentico, Sitefinity or Sitecore is also acceptable.
Want to work as a Full-Stack .NET Web Developer for an agency that trusts and supports their staff? Want to expand your CMS experience working for fantastic not-for-profit clients?
