Job Description & Person Specification - Mid-Level Software Developer

My client is looking for a talented, experienced, and motivated Mid-Level Software Developer to join their company.

They are the undisputed leaders in golf IT applications. Since 1982, they have been designing, building, and supporting a wide variety of products for golf club administration and management.

With a vast customer database of over 1800 customers globally, they provide all aspects of golf club administration under one highly reliable roof. Now employing just shy of 50 full-time staff, their growth continues to accelerate as they further their services throughout continental Europe and the rest of the world in partnership with the R&A and other global golf federations, Kenya, Cooke Islands, Uganda, Belize, Malta, St Lucia, Croatia, Bahrain, Gabon, Belarus to name a few.

They are also the creator of a major online portal for competition results, club news, tee time booking, exclusive member only national competitions and much more. With over 500, 000 registered golfers we are the largest online community of golfers in Europe

Job Title: Mid-Level Software Developer

Annual Salary: On Application

Location: Hybrid

Hours - 37.5

Role and Responsibilities:

They are currently looking for an experienced and passionate candidate to join their growing Software Development team. Working with the Senior Product Owner in an agile fashion to discuss feasibility and design on the enhancement of existing products right through to greenfield, innovative products and services, helping to shape the industry and maintain our market-leading position.

Job duties:

  • Working across multiple projects and applications
  • Estimating, Implementing and Testing tasks
  • Working alongside Support to identify and resolve bugs
  • Participating in daily stand ups
  • Presenting completed work to the team
  • Using predefined frameworks, tools, and processes
  • Working as part of a young, vibrant, and dynamic team
