Conference Event Manager wanted for an established Association based in Central London, who focus within the Finance sector here in the UK.
As a Conference Event Manager you will work across their portfolio of 30 events made up of Briefings, Roundtables, Forums and half day conferences, these events range from 22 delegates for the roundtables, up to 180 delegates for the conferences. 80% of the role will be Operations, dealing with registration, AV, Delegate and Sponsor relationship management, build up and breakdown and all associated admin. 10% is Content focused, working with a committee/members on the idea, dealing with speakers and working on feasibility documents. 10% is marketing focused, sending invites, crafting email campaigns and updating the website.
This is a great role for a lovely well respected Association, as a Conference Event Manager ideally you need to be an all-rounder, someone who has previously worked within B2B Conferences either for a Conference organiser or another Association/Insitute, the client would like 3 to 5 years experience within Project management which includes Marketing, Operations and Content.
