Global Network Camera Market forecast

According to the market research prepared by Technavio,  the global network camera market is predicted to grow steadily at a CAGR of above 43% by 2021. The increase in the shift from analogue to IP cameras is one of the primary drivers for this market.  The Americas are expected to dominate the network camera market during the forecast period. The use of IP cameras has increased extensively in facilities, such as stadiums, city surveillance projects, and hotels, as they are relatively cost-effective and cover a large area.

Video Doorbell sales growth

The global market for video doorbells is expected to experience a 28% compound annual growth rate (CAGR) over the next five years, according to IHS Markit. In 2015 a global market size was estimated to $78 Million and video doorbells are only just beginning to gain traction among residential consumers. However, the primary barrier today remains price. The key to increasing the adoption rate is to raise consumer awareness of the benefits.

At 50,000sqm, featuring 1290 exhibitors from 55 countries, and spanning 3 days, the Security Event calendar kicked off as it means to go on. As CEO of the organiser, Messe Frankfurt Middle East, Ahmed Pauls pointed out, “the widely-attended forums alongside the exhibition [at Intersec] are vital sounding boards where regional professionals interact with and learn from leading international experts about the latest trends and developments within the industry”. The event was a great opportunity for me to catch up with existing clients and candidates whilst making many more new connections from across the world.
