As a leading Wimbledon Recruitment agency, we pride ourselves on learning, knowing, and actively participating in the markets we work in, attending various exhibitions, conferences, and workshops within these markets. We also pride ourselves on the long-term relationships we develop with our clients and candidates.
The chance to celebrate these and have an informal catch-up came last week with our second ever Pimms O’Clock event taking place here in Sunny Wimbledon during the Championships, with Pimms, Strawberries, Pizza, Bubbles, and plenty of conversation on the bill.
It was a great time for us to catch up with the businesses and candidates we work with and extremely interesting to hear about the various successes and challenges they are facing within the current market. With the Pimms aptly flowing, topics ranged from how to save on hiring costs, increasing staff retention, and how the year has been going for everyone, to the tennis, football, and possibly a little bit of Brexit.
With our consultants expertise on hand to provide solutions to these problems (though we couldn’t do anything about Europe), we enjoyed being able to talk about the great benefits of our retained recruitment service Eligo IQ, as well as the various marketing activities that we work on and how we can work with clients on that front. We love to partner up with our clients and candidates on anything from industry insight and blogging to helping spread your good news, so please do let us know if there is anything we can help you out with on that front or if you’d like to contribute something towards our blog.
Of course, it wasn’t all business talk! With the Championships here in our lovely town of Wimbledon, we couldn’t help but continue with the Tennis theme, getting everyone involved in a Andy Murray branded version of last man standing heads & tails. With a bottle of official Wimbledon bubbly as the prize, we’d like to send our Congratulations to Roxanne Fitzpatrick from CV Library after winning in just two rounds!
Overall it was a very enjoyable day, perfectly set across the backdrop of the Wimbledon championships and the buzz that it brings the town every year. We’d like to say thank you to the many clients, candidates, and local businesses that came along, and of course our wonderful Eligoids who make Eligo what it is! We hope those that came along had a similarly great time and enjoyed catching up with their consultants, and meeting new ones.
Here’s to seeing you all again next year!
We’re extremely proud of the relationship we have with our clients, and the way our Wimbledon recruitment consultants engage in these relationships, and we’re further proud to say that it isn’t just us who thinks this way! Over the last year we have been awarded as the Best Business in SW19 and Best Enterprising Business in the Merton Best Business Awards, whilst we have been selected as finalists as Employer of the Year for the finals this September.
