Rome wasn't built in a day but they laid brick after brick, day after day. We share a couple of things in common with our Roman friends; Eligo is a Latin word meaning to choose, search, and select, and we've had our fair share of Caesar salads during the summer months too. And just like the continual laying of the bricks, we believe that it's the habits, the values, and drive to improve every day that makes the outcome. We've come a long way since 2001 and have some exciting plans on how we can go even further. Many people have contributed towards our history, so we can contribute towards your future.
Eligo opens new office in Birmingham
Our technology division has always been a strong sector at Eligo recruitment and expanding across the UK has always been an ambition. So, when came the opportunity for our Head of Tech, Rick Deller to set up a base in the Midlands, due to wanting to start a family up north, we jumped at the chance! Now with tech divisions based in London and Birmingham, we are able to help even more people with their recruitment needs.
Eligo Moves to new Wimbledon office!
18 years on as our sectors and teams grew, from specialist recruiters joining and internal promotions to Eligo academy newbies, we needed a bigger space to call our own! So where to move next? After many years we’ve enjoyed working in the leafy green yet buzzing Wimbledon district, with its quick commutable access to the city, great local businesses, not to mention great restaurants and bars (and the tennis!). So moving 15 minutes down the road into a newly built office was a great opportunity for our employees and the expansion of the Eligo team, whilst still being able to offer the best recruitment service for our clients and candidates.
Eligo Medical is Born!
Experiened medical recruiter Bhavica joined Eligo in December 2013 and set up Eligo's first Medical contract division placing Locum GP's, Nurses, Phlebotomist, Healthcare Assistants in GP Surgeries, HMP prisons, Walk in Centres, Urgent Care Centres and Out of Hours services. 6 years on the medical team has grown and continues to ensure the best possible service whilst creating excellent lasting relationships.
