This person will set up and lead the first Agile team within this software vendor. You will have deep and wide experience of Agile methodologies, with particular experience of Scrum. In addition, you will have a good technical knowledge of the .Net architecture and be able to take your share of story development. You should take pride in your ability to create a team which can develop and deliver stories using speedy, simple and robust techniques. Experience required: • Proven experience in: o .net framework with significant exp in .net 3 , o ADO.net, o Web Services or WSE or WCF, o Winforms o XML o T-SQL o UML o OO analysis and design o Domain driven design o story based development o TDD o Continuous integration • Proven experience working in Agile or iterative environments • Must be able to point to at least one recent role in you set up from scratch a successful, Scrum based, Agile team. • Must also be able to point to a track record of leading Agile developments where the business regarded the development projects as extremely successful. Personal characteristics • Personal commitment to fast delivery of well crafted code and to delivering user satisfaction • The candidate should have made a positive choice to work in an Agile environment and strongly believe in their worth • Strong ability to work in high pressure and stressful environments • Absolute commitment to delivery dates.
