One of the most reputable and well known Exhibition Businesses in the world are looking for a driven and self-motivated Sales Executive to join their events team. The candidate will have media/events sales experience with a can-do attitude and a flexible nature, able to adapt with role. Excellent telesales skills are a prerequisite along with a confident face-to-face personality, attention to detail and a team-player mentality.

Key Tasks

• To develop excellent knowledge of the Education market, its suppliers and their products
• To keep up-to-date with developments in the market and to identify/research new growth areas for sales
• To develop and maintain relationships with the client base and understand their motivations for exhibiting
• To achieve sales targets as set by the sales manager
• To develop online sales
• To maximize revenue through selling sponsorship opportunities to existing clients
• To actively seek out new business leads and follow through on new prospects from all relevant sources (trade publications, competitor events etc)
• To carry out targeted exhibitor promotional campaigns as set out in the sales plan
• To attend competitor events where appropriate
• To accompany the Sales Manager on client visits where appropriate
• To carry out specific projects/tasks as directed by the Sales Manager
• To take part in the rebooking process onsite at the shows as directed by Sales Manager
• To take part in strategy days and update meetings and use market knowledge to input into the overall strategic direction of the shows.
• To develop and maintain the sales database to maximise sales potential
