This truly massive plc with a turnover of over £1 billion, 10,000 employees and operations in 80 countries is looking for a Sales Manager to head up one of its most recogniseable shows. Based in Central London and employing 25 people in sales and marketing roles this is a great chance to become part of a global name. They run exhibitions throughout Europe and in India, China and the US.
The Role -
Sales Manager -
As Sales Manager you will be tasked with driving the sales to suppliers for 2 massive exhibitions based in the UK and China. You will be expected to grow the business using face-to-face sales, and telesales both to existing and new clients. You will pick up and create leads by attending rival exhibitions, sourcing journals and websites and through directories.
Job Summary -
- New business and account management- Support other show team activities such as floor-plan management and other events- Consultative Sales - presentations conducted to small groups
- Develop ways to increase revenue
- Direct report to Exhibition Director
Skills -
- ideally 2 years media or exhibition sales- flexible approach to sales- successful track record of growing revenue through new business
