Job Title: European Channel Account Manager – CCTV - Spain, Portugal & Italy

Key responsibilities
Territory: Spain, Portugal & Italy
* The position will be office based unless meeting customers.
* The Business management of all partners/distributors within Spain, Portugal & Italy
* The identification and implementation of new business expansion opportunities with new customers
* An active policy of relevant customer development allowing both ‘push’ and ‘pull’ objectives and strategies to be developed.
* To achieve set objectives relating to all relevant sales and product quantity mix. This will involve the strategic and active analysis of channel management and introduction of sales promotion activity.
* To supervise and monitor sales support staff at our Madrid and Milan offices (currently 1 member of staff in each office supporting sales in their region)
Strategic planning
* Both short and medium sales planning will be required on a regular basis following sales meetings and continuous market information feed back.
* Recommendations on marketing plans and new/revised strategic direction will be discussed with the Western European Senior Sales Manager.
* Areas of responsibility will include:
* Distributor/installer/System Integrator
* Existing customer audit analysis
* Product and market segmentation, positioning and targeting
* Input of ideas towards marketing plans for new product launches
* Focus on product/channel/customer margin mix
* Accuracy of forecasting and PSI management
* Achievement of all budgets
SRD ( Sales Return Stock)
* Responsibility for the resell of both demonstration and marketing stock is a fundamental requirement to minimize margin loss. A reasonable target would be to resell this stock within the month it has been refurbished. Full responsibility must be taken for this critical area of business.
* Overseas visits
* The region to be developed is Spain, Portugal & Italy.
* It will be necessary to make visits to these countries to build and develop the business.
* Prior to the visits being arranged clear primary and secondary objectives must be set.
* After each visit a report is to be submitted to the Western European Senior Sales
* Manager detailing the key points and actions.
Reporting to the Western European Senior Sales Manager
Ideal Candidate
* Knowledge of the Spanish and Italian markets, main channels and potential customers
* Minimum of 5 years sales experience working for a CCTV Manufacturer in a senior position selling to Distributors and System Integrators in the region
* Assisting in specifying work with Consultants
* Proven sales and achievement record
* Understanding of new technologies
