Job Purpose:
The main responsibilities of this position are to achieve the designated sales target on a daily, monthly and quarterly basis from a designated managed account base. Maximising call activity you are expected to optimise the sales potential of every account by a combination of telephone activity, customer visits and the opening of new avenues by creating new contacts promoting new products.
Main Responsibilities:
* Manage assigned client database to supply customer requirements and maximise account value.
* Create affective quarterly business plans
* Issue Quarterly revenue and GP forecasts to Director
* Create visit reports to be presented to the Director within a timely manner
* Establish accurate and comprehensive client files recording all relevant data
* Record accurate response to all contacts made on client database
* Conduct a daily review of sales reports and plan customer sales contacts accordingly
* Attend all product-training sessions and ensure information provided to customers is both accurate and commercially focused
* Cover customer enquiries in the absence of team colleagues
* Deal with all customer queries efficiently and effectively
* Lead and attend customer visits
* Liaise with product manufacturers
* Adhere to all company policies and procedures with regard to Quality (ISO 9002), Pricing standards, Health & Safety.
Experience
Ideally have worked in IT Sales for at least 3 years
Ideally have experience of DMR sales for 1-2 years.
Ideally have had experience in a commercial environment within sales department
Skills
Strong verbal communication skills
Strong face to face negotiation skill – proven track record
Excellent telephone manner
Good listening skills
