Purpose of the Conference Sales Coordinator role:
The centre has seven flexible event and meeting spaces that can support an array of clients from charities and local authorities through to corporate and international clients.

The Conference Sales Co-ordinator will be responsible for the sales and promotion of the centre Space. Maximising income by retaining existing clients and expanding the current client list will be crucial parts of this role along with market awareness and product development.


Conference Sales Coordinator Responsibilities:
?To handle all incoming sales enquiries and manage bookings diary to maximise income and spaces let
?Send booking contracts to clients within 24 hours of enquiry
?Ensure the timely handover of client bookings to Conference Liaison Officer and Conference Manager once bookings have been confirmed
?Create a database of potential future clients
?To ensure that all relevant targets are met
?Record all enquiries and declined business with reasons for decline
?Manage all 'warm' business leads to maximise income
?Develop and implement sales plan with Conference and Sales and Marketing Managers to encompass up selling, promotional activities and open events
?Attendance at exhibitions to promote venue as required
?As a crucial sales and marketing tool the Sales Co-ordinator should ensure the timely and accurate maintenance of the website
?To attend Sales and Marketing Meetings
?To support the operations team if required during larger events
