A leading international media company with established successful publishing and exhibition brands is looking for an experienced conference manager to launch and grow a conference business for their International Exhibition brands. 
The opportunity around these markets is substantial and calls for an exceptional individual who is hungry for a fast-track career opportunity in conferences.

 

To apply for this role you must have a minimum of 3 years managing a successful team of commercial conference producers, although 5 years plus will be more preferable as there is no room for inexperience with this role.

The aim is to build a dedicated conference team whose sole role is to develop, deliver and expand conference opportunities around the world. It will be built on high revenues, healthy margins and sustainability.

As Conference Manager you will report directly to the Conference Director (based in UK) and will be expected to grow a team as quickly and as is feasibly possible.

You should want to be a director soon and have the drive and talent to get there but just need the opportunity.  

The Manager will be required to take over the management of the existing pre agreed budgeted number of events/revenues and profit.

Support from the UK team will be maintained in terms of production, marketing and logistics until a team is established.

The portfolio is currently being managed by an experienced UK based Conference Manager who will provide a full handover and support to the position.

The role will involve building a team from scratch to take over this business and run it from the Maarssen office. This will be a challenging role with excellent remuneration package. Only a high calibre, experienced successful Conference Manager within the conference industry will be put forward for this role.
