Company: Global Tier One Manufacturer.
Overall Job Purpose: To manage one of our clients key distributor focusing purely on the company Video Conferencing products.
Location: South East.
Key Activities and Responsibilities
· To achieve monthly & quarterly revenue targets.
· Set quarterly targets within key distributor
· Report flash figures on a weekly basis and ensure accurate forecasting against target.
· To prepare and execute quarterly plans jointly which focus on the sales out of all VC products.
· To manage the quarterly forecast of the VC business in the UK.
· Engage with the distributor business manager on a weekly basis and jointly identify - areas for improvement, promotional ideas, inventory issues, competitive pricing, sales successes and failures and product training requirements.
· To develop relationships with the key stakeholders within UK Distribution
· Articulate and promote the companies value proposition to all levels of the hierarchy through distribution.
· Be the centre of competence for the distributor team by promoting knowledge of the organisation.
· Respond to all AV displays queries from distribution and deliver a timely resolution.
· Provide ongoing sales training for the Distribution sales teams.
· Report on a weekly basis Competitor/dealer/market activity
· Apply for funding on a quarterly basis
Specialist Skills / Experience
· Experience in selling Video Conference products or IP solutions via distribution.
· Proven sales track record in channel sales
· Excellent account development skills
